Below is the guide for installing the CIN software upgrade. If you encounter any difficulties or have any questions regarding installation, please do not hesitate to contact us.

CIN for Windows cannot be upgraded by simple file replacement. The following process must be followed as controls and processes must be uninstalled and reinstalled and registered.

Please find enclosed a disc to upgrade your program to the latest version. To perform the upgrade please proceed with the following steps:
 

Using the DOS Version

1 Make sure you have finished with the current pay period.

2 Ensure that the drug stock levels have been updated for today.

3 Make a backup and verify it from the Housekeeping/Utilities Menu.

 
Returning to Windows

4. Click "My Computer", "Control Panel", "Add/Remove Programs", "CIN For Windows" then "Add/Remove". Confirm that you wish to remove CIN for Windows - (this will not affect your data.)

5. Put CIN for Windows, Disk 1 of 3 in the drive

6. Click "Start", "Run". Type "a:setup" in the box. Click "OK".

And follow the on-screen instructions. Setup may ask you to restart your computer and restart the setup process again from "5".
